We trace our history to January 2, 1941, when Bernard T. Moynahan, Jr., some four days past his twenty-first birthday, took the required oath and became the youngest person ever admitted to the practice of law in Kentucky.
With interruptions for military, judicial and other public service, and after practicing as a part of other organizations, the firm ultimately took its present form on March 1, 1998.
We engage in the general practice of law, including state and federal litigation, railroad law, land use law, employment law, domestic relations, business organizations and transactions, estate planning and administration, medical malpractice defense and real estate law. We also maintain a close referral relationship for matters involving complex tax issues.
Our regular clients range from large and small business organizations engaged in the health care, transportation and construction industries. In addition, we serve as local counsel in state and federal litigation matters, and regularly provide representation to medical professionals and other individuals with whom we do not otherwise maintain ongoing attorney client relationships.
